Position Overview:
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who can help us manage the front-end and back-end development of our Point-of-Sale applications for our stores nationwide. In this role, you'll be working closely with our agile teams to code, test, and document technical solutions that will help us maintain and improve our functionality. To navigate such a fast-paced environment, our Senior Development Staff and Database Administrators will be there to support you every step of the way! The ideal candidate should have practical experience in SQL programming and database schema design and must have built applications using Angular or React and Web APIs. Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to gather Business Requirements.
- Assist in story estimation and proposing timelines for completion.
- Assist in creating stories for both business and non-functional requirements.
- Perform specialized programming tasks with a high degree of technical proficiency in .Net, C#, T-SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Angular
- Proficient and experienced in third-party integration using SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
- Development experience in .NET, Web Application, MVC Web Site, , Azure services, and Angular.
- Well versed in Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Analysis. Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices and complex programming concepts like Multi-Threading, and Socket programming.
- Experience using Entity Framework or any equivalent ORM tool.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience using Test Automation tools like Coded UI or Selenium.
- Responsible for preparing test data for unit, system, integration and parallel testing.
- Experience with code packaging using TFS and automated release tools like Azure DevOps and Release Management or Jenkins is preferred.
- Deploy features and functions of product to the PLS store environment.
- Conduct staff training including presentations and demonstrations at user locations; and advising on operational problems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and effectively communicate store status and support issues.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science within the discipline of Information Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience as a full-stack software developer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI-CD and test automation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
